Gaelic Themes kilt pins are cast at a pewter manufacturing facility in Glasgow from molds modelled by one of Scotland's finest sculptors. Each kilt pin is cast as a single piece (excepting the pin mounts), which allows for maximum strength and durability, and is made from 100% Pewter with no lead content. Each casting is individually fettled and hand polished. Hand antiquing is also applied to result in a product worthy to carry the "made in Scotland" mark.
All crests are based on The Scottish Clan and Family Encyclopaedia by Way and Squire, published by Harper Collins, and approved by the Council of Scottish Chiefs..
