These military style spats are made for regimental style pipe band dress. There are 2 layers of fabric, and a flexible plastic strips runs from top to bottom inside the back seam to help the spats keep their shape. The main fastener is Velcro, but the top and bottom buttons are also functional. A wide black elastic strap goes over your ghillies to keep the spats in place. Compared to the Deluxe Spats, the fabric is a brighter white and a lighter weight.
